JAMES B. CURTIN, Esq., CPA (inactive) maintains a practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, tax, business formation, income tax, agriculture and elder law with the Columbus law firm of Hrabcak & Company L.P.A. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Curtin practiced for fifteen years as a certified public accountant (inactive) with two international firms. He has been published in the Journal of Pension Planning and Compliance and is a contributing author for the Ohio State Bar Desk Manual on Elder Law.
Mr. Curtin is a frequent lecturer through the National Business Institute on asset protection, probate law, estate planning and taxation for professional groups. He also has lectured for the Ohio Society of CPAs on financial planning and the New York State Society of CPAs on taxation and governmental ac- counting. Mr. Curtin is a member of the Estate Planning, Pro- bate and Trust Section of the Ohio State Bar Association and a member of the Ohio State Society of CPAs.
